1974 Portrait of Dana Miller, Oil

1974 Portrait of Dana Miller, Oil

Dana Miller was kind enough to sit for this portrait in oil. My cat Amber snuck in as well. When I was doing Dana’s face I put down my brushes and painted her portrait with my fingers. I have never done so before or since.

Unfortunately when I moved to Tbilisi, Georgia I had to dispose of this painting since I couldn’t find anyone willing to take it. Incidentally, I moved to the country of Georgia in order to marry my Iranian fiancée who was prevented from coming to the US by Trump’s Muslim Ban. Sorry Dana, I wish I could have given it to you, if you wanted it.
