1974 Portrait of Dana Miller
Dana Miller was kind enough to sit for this portrait in oil. My cat Amber snuck in as well. When I was doing Dana’s face I put down my brushes and painted her portrait with my fingers. I have never done so before or since.
Unfortunately when I moved to Tbilisi, Georgia I had to dispose of this paiinting since I couldn’t find anyone willing to take it. Incidentally, I moved to the country of Georgia in order to marry my Iranian fiancee who was prevented from coming to the US by Trump’s Muslim Ban. Sorry Dana, I wish I could have given it to you, if you wanted it.
