Skagit River Frog

Skagit River Frog

I did this while living in Rockport, Washington, a little village of 150 people on the Skagit River in the Cascade Mountains. I found the rock along the Skagit and kept it for almost a year until I "saw" the frog in it. I think it is serpentine and has the dull sheen characteristic of that mineral. It has quite a beautiful range of greens. The photograph had degraded over time and I had to correct the colors a bit.
